Pre-treatment instructions

To prepare for a facial custom, focus on cleansing, avoid harsh treatments, and being transparent about your skin’s needs. Before your appointment, avoid makeup, exfoliants, and strong skincare products for at least 1 week. Hydrate well, and let your aesthetician know about any skin concerns, changes in medical history, or any recent treatments such as injectables, lasers, or any other skin therapies.

Facial Prep:

  • Arrive makeup-free.
  • Avoid harsh treatments: Refrain from using scrubs, exfoliators, or retinol products for a week before your facial.
  • Sun protection: Minimize sun exposure in the days leading up to your appointment. Sun burned or tanned skin can be compromised for treatment.
  • Hydration: Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
  • Be comfortable: Wear comfortable clothing and minimal jewelry.

Communicate with your esthetician:

  • Be honest about your concerns: Share any skin concerns, allergies, or medical conditions you have with your esthetician.
  • Discuss your goals: Let them know your skincare goals and what you hope to achieve with the facial.
  • Product information: Consider bringing a list of your current skincare products and any medications you’re taking.
